Princess Elizabeth Poem by Vester Crowley Ix

Princess Elizabeth

A princess with veiled face
Walking in the tower praying in her pace
The tower that called fame
Two brothers chanting her name
For the truth has caged her heart
Death is always art
She laid down thought in her head
For imagination kept she fed
Soon her death will be lone
The brothers will chant their own
Hymn of their love to the mother
Run away princess from the father
She slept and talked to her soul
'Why was I such a fool? '
Down in her core
She knew the door
To her deepest memories untold
Feeling so sold
So cold
Wait my mystery you shall be unfold
My mystery
My misery
Pain shalt thou give me death
Or should thou tempt Beth
Elizabeth is my name
All knows my fame
Listen to my calling
My fate is trailing
Catch my own breath
Jump away from death
The brothers will witness what they fear
For their mother layed mere
Holy to their wild father
'I am no longer your toy in the tower'
'I will remain with my body
I am a fool to nobody'
