Prisoner Of War Poem by taylor hakala

Prisoner Of War

a camp of monsters from hell,
nearby a man whipped into a bloody form.
hopeless men attempt try to sell,
the wind tempest creates a destructive storm.

captured by these demonic beasts,
use us as bait from my own allies, im sure.
the beast's in the tent feast,
on what all men crave, power.

the night is darkened by the fall of the sun,
dark spirits roam the black mass, I
thought all seemed lost, thought then life was done,
overlook the skies, winged armoured birds fly by.

a man lies, controlled by thirst and hunger,
i must help but wonder what gonna happen to me.
a dead rabbit lies stripped of its fur,
the enemy march us away, graves from as far as i can see
