Priyotosh Poem by Zahir Ashfaque

Priyotosh

Rating: 5.0

Last week Late Priyotosh Dutta came in my dream.
I am not a man of dreams. But
Priyotosh, I saw you the same as before.
slender
Messy, baffled.
Strange, he started drinking recently.
His red lips gave such a smile
As if red became pink.
Oh, let me tell, he lost few teeth.

Priyotosh looked happy.
He hadn't clothes on.
All over his body something was written
In a jumble,
I couldn't read.
I told him, oh friend
How many days I didn't see you!
Gave a smile in his pink lips, he told
Please kill me one more time, last time you were so kind. Please one more time.
In his melancholic voice he told again-please one more time.
I won't come in any body's dream.
