Progress Poem by Artchil Daug

Progress

A glass goblet in
a party during
a celebration
of a law passed,
a level accomplished, and
a promotion received,
fell on the floor,
smashed,
broken,
to myriads of pieces,
a melting candle
taking another form,
never returning
to what it once was,
es equals kay log double you;
thus, we move forward
in the arrow
that was never there.
