Prologue Poem by Mike Blotzer

Prologue

Even in the brightest flame, there is a touch of blue
So if you kill off all my demons, you might kill my angels too

So take me as I am; a stubborn fool - perfectly flawed
But know I was never as honest as I was in this song.

Miscellaneous criticisms that don't right any wrongs
Will only get you hoarse and stiffness in the jaw

So bite your tongue; yes, for you I know it's hard
For alas! - you have no alternatives, but to silently get along
