I promise
To my heart
To cherish and strengthen the love
Deep inside it

I promise
To my soul
To keel it burning
Let it perfect itself
In the kiln of love and pain

I promise
To the pain
That has engulfed me since long
To be loyal to it
To remmember when i will be set free

I promise to you
Oh my love
To endure your seperation
With submission
Yet with dignity
To keep loving you
Even when i am gone

I promise myself
To shed not a single tear
Yet weep a river
To show no sorrow
Yet be meloncholic
To be calm and sane
Yet be insanely joyful
