You know every day...
There is a fight
That continues till the stars are bright
You think i am allright
Because u cant understand my plight

The fight starts in the dawn
Just before the morning azaan
The fight with no blood shed
But leaves a part of me dead

By morning the fight turns hot
As it between the mind and heart
The mind says to stop loving you
But heart says i cant

The mind says you will end ul in pain
The heart corrects that love is name.
The noon commences and the mind is all red
But the heart is calm like a newly wed

Thats so foolish to burn in pain
Mind said to heart with a visible disdain
Pain gives strength to the love in me
Heart said to mind with a cheerful glee

Then comes evening with a scent of thee
The eyes get misty...and i sit under a tree
The past comes rushing with ocean of pain
Mind says to heart..thats what you gain!

The eyes till silent agree with the mind
The one who is lost is hard to find
With a lovely smile heart said aloud
Nobody is lost..in me lives the beloved

'She doesnt love you'the mind said low
'Yes you are right'said heart..head hung low
There was silence for a short while
Which so soothing like the water of Nile

Tearing apart the silence the heart spoke up
'Love isnt a deal
Where you see the profit
It just happens you like it or not
Loving the one who loves you back
Thats so easy like a walk on a cake
But loving the one with no in return
Thats so hard..in the fire you have to burn
But that gives you place you ought to have
Selfless love...thats the name
