Pronounced Deadly By Ohsu - Poem by Sandra Dodd

What is a wife to do?
I know its coming, has to

Got home
The usual snuggle
as dishes got done
Cant wait
we have to
have THE talk:
Honey, lover
Your doctor said
No more
Until after
SURGERY
and recovery,
Its AMA.
Apparently, I’m deadly.

No he didn’t
say that!
with a manly scowl

OH yes he did dear
I am afraid
the market
is closed!

Obvious distress
A man agile with
Scientific brain
4 degrees
libido like
binary code

He paused
Just a moment
Sweetly said:
BUT your like
a whole mall
Are some of
the stores open?

Really
going to be a
Lo-o-o-ong
month
