Prophetable Edge ~~~~~ Poem by Roger Snow

Prophetable Edge ~~~~~

~~~~~ Prophetable Edge ~~~~~
" When the Last prophet exits the Door, , ,
This World loses the Purpose
that it was built for, , , , ,
The Rhyme and Reason
Walks South
out a Hell bound Door
When Fear kills a Smile
and Desperation's all we come to know
and Love falls out of Style
and Dispensation hit's an all time low
When the Artist Fade away
and music leaves our Souls
The World faces it's dying Day
When the Last Prophet exits the Door
~~~ Second Verse ~~~

Marchers in the Street
Protest all too much, , ,

Cry Baby Cry

it's all too late
no change left to Try

Marchers in the Street
and the Worlds on it's last Crutch, , ,

Misery and Profit
for a World Greedy to strive

Lose the Last Prophet
and the Worlds no longer alive

Guitars Silent
just before the Fall

Music's gone Violent
and our Backs against the Wall

It's dark outside
in the Middle of the Day

ain't no place left
for us to come out and Play

Governments across the Slate
Dictate the end of our Fate

with Gold in their Pockets
from waging War

and Mankind just doesn't care anymore

~~~~ End ~~~~
