Protection

The sword of light is drawn
from its sheltered container,
and zipped from side to side.
A glimer of blue light
resonates from its blade.
The blue blazing light
swivels and spins through the darkness
bringing forth a spectacle
of light,
to shatter
the dark presence that night.
