Psalm 105 Poem by Frank McEleny

Psalm 105

Call upon His name all of His children
Announce His name to all the sons of man
Seek His holy face now and forever
Open up your ears to hear His plan

When He makes a covenant it shan't be broken
And all His promises are always yes, amen
No matter if you find yourself in prison
Or at the bottom of the roaring lion's den

When famine reigns and all the land is hungry
The seed is planted as a lowly slave
And Joseph goes before his brothers into Egypt
And at God's hand he would arise and save

For what was meant for evil and destruction
God will turn this evil into good
Salvation that was wrought from death and darkness
This is manna from above, its angels food

So His promises is to every generation
To those who seek and open up their heart
He will never leave them nor forsake them
And from them His mercies shall not part
