Psalm 139 Another View Poem by James Tipp

Psalm 139 Another View

When God is not far off we can relate
The hand that touches, the ear that hears,
The voice that speaks, are intimate words
Words that speak of knowing, on both sides.
In all we seek as pilgrims, these words explain
They transmute the inner core of the spirit
Into the world of humanities striving to be known.
God is not far off and distant for the psalmist
He is there in the macro and microcosm of life
My life, your life, humanities heartbeat is His
I am known, I am unique, I am important
Because there is communication with my God.
