Psalms In Poetry - Chapter 1

1So blessed is he who shall reject
Advice from ones, who are wicked,
And not supporting sinners’ paths
Nor seated with cynics in group;

2 But who delights in Yahweh’s law,
And murmurs them all night and day!

3Such one’s like tree planted near streams,
And bears its fruit in right season;
Whose leaves do not wither at all,
And every project well succeeds.

4How different are the wicked ones!
–Like chaff that’s blown around by wind.

5Wicked won’t stand firm at Judgment
Nor sinners with upright persons.

6For Yahweh watches upright’s path
And wicked’s path is forev’r doomed!
