Like menagerie splattered on a canvas
A spectrum of colors merges into one
Rainbows overlap into oblivion
The edge of darkness springs into light
A manic mantra explodes into the subconscious
A yellow submarine toots by
Swirling around a whirlpool down the drain
The muscatel hemorrhages from my chin
A portal, a temple eludes me
Perspiration meets desperation
Clawing, clinging to shadows of doubt
An echo of a scream awakens me
I rush to flush the pills down the toilet
Except one
