~
Sands of time slip away while the same doldrums 1st & 11th 55
Wear at my emotions stored on the shelf next 2nd & 10th 54
There is Zen which releases our somatic 3rd & 9th 53
Stored energy rushing out freely flowing 4th & 8th 52
Activating dendrites dead in the body 5th & 7th 51
Maybe it was my bellicose veins which led 6th 50
To their death through my pet peeve ignorance no 5th & 7th 49
Excuse O'er the years the wreckage piled up 4th & 8th 48
Massive heaps of scrap were unstable yet stacked 3rd & 9th 47
They lay where they fell upon each other there 2nd & 10th 46
Matter of factually speaking 'tis more 1st & 11th 45
Construed through the fashion in which they're laid out 2nd & 10th 44
Junk yards where people roam as they please searching 3rd & 9th 43
Through cars which were once new now resting in ruin 4th & 8th 42
The sun beats down breezes play with old papers 5th & 7th 41
And a searcher must test the part that he needs 6th 40
He inspects the core with hands which show his skill 5th & 7th 39
Some parts are worn yet there's something he has learned 4th & 8th 38
For he knows by rebuilding it should work fine 3rd & 9th 37
His van was built with salvaged parts some may say 2nd & 10th 36
Because he learned to study the things he liked 1st & 11th 35
Objects based on principals will remain true 2nd & 10th 34
'Twas through wit and joys of discovery that 3rd & 9th 33
Led him to train in the ways others forgot 4th & 8th 32
He did not like math some laughed because they thought 5th & 7th 31
It provided clues simplicity worked best 6th 30
That's what he thought he grew bored with their thinking 5th & 7th 29
They have legions who duplicate dynamics 4th & 8th 28
His defiance can not be ignored some said 3rd & 9th 27
He knows nothing and we have reached our wits end 2nd & 10th 26
We should forget him, nothing he says is true 1st & 11th 25
They ran him off for they could not digest thoughts 2nd & 10th 24
Until they thought about that which they had seen 3rd & 9th 23
Then they felt glee his words would ring with a truth 4th & 8th 22
And oh their laughter depicts his true brilliance 5th & 7th 21
How he would just sit teasing and taunting them 6th 20
They were at their peak and rare in their own rights 5th & 7th 19
He was a bum and quite a low life without 4th & 8th 18
Any care besides he would stutter gruffly 3rd & 9th 17
Anyone could have drawn the same conclusion 2nd & 10th 16
Who'll question our theorem he made predictions 1st & 11th 15
We'll win in any courtroom he's to waggish 2nd & 10th 14
It is plain to see he will not dare challenge 3rd & 9th 13
He'll be battered before the jot of ink dries 4th & 8th 12
Who'd side with a riffraff beggar over us 5th & 7th 11
They may only glance through his broad petition 6th 10
And he understood the grim reality 5th& 7th 9
So he sat there he was a whiz and he thought 4th & 8th 8
What are bonds then he went home and packed his things 3rd & 9th 7
He slept hours and he dreamt of a dull knife 2nd & 10th 6
Stitched into a vest which gave him certain hints 1st & 11th 5
A maverick was wearing it and it stings 2nd & 10th 4
Then an elf grabs the knife and runs from there to 3rd & 9th 3
Find sixteen wren atop a heap of branches 4th & 8th 2
They changed colors foolish plans or simple truths 5rd & 7th 1

Second Stanza
~ Syllable Rhyme
Living a double life can be strenuous 5th & 7th 55
There are times when falling asleep is a task 4th & 8th 54
In itself rising too may become a chore 3rd & 9th 53
I have not even mentioned everything else 2nd & 10th 52
Which is associated with these events 1st & 11th 51
Some skeptics might say these occasional thoughts 2nd & 10th 50
Can be contributed to his lack of rest 3rd & 9th 49
He has grown paranoid of his surroundings 4th & 8th 48
Only if he could teach himself to relax 5th & 7th 47
There would be a chance to cure his dementia 6th 46
Well I don't know if such dregs could rise above 5th & 7th 45
And I'd wonder how these guys got certified 4th & 8th 44
Then again maybe that is why they're called quacks 3rd & 9th 43
It's inevitable some may not agree 2nd & 10th 42
You are entitled to your own opinions 1st & 11th 41
Individuality makes us unique 2nd & 10th 40
Yet we share certain broad characteristics 3rd & 9th 39
Used by large numbers of skilled professionals 4th & 8th 38
Still they are unique in their own special way 5th & 7th 37
For certain qualities and moral standards 6th 36
'Tis these characteristics which may define 5th & 7th 35
Oneself is the only true thing that we have 4th & 8th 34
Can such a thing be purchased by another 3rd & 9th 33
Humanity will always ask this question 2nd & 10th 32
Thee answer to it can only come from you 1st & 11th 31
Howsoever you will decide know it's your 2nd & 10th 30
Choice, conscience guides you believe in your morals 3rd & 9th 29
Repercussions reverberate deep within 4th & 8th 28
All our choices we make stored inside our minds 5th & 7th 27
We may always use them to guide us along 6th 26
No matter which path you have chosen to take 5th & 7th 25
There will certainly be others to choose from 4th & 8th 24
Follow it patiently wherever it leads 3rd & 9th 23
Select an easy path until you gain strength 2nd & 10th 22
Eventually you may go on a hike 1st & 11th 21
One can easily be absorbed by nature 2nd & 10th 20
There are so many places you could do this 3rd & 9th 19
Some of the more interesting are meadows, 4th & 8th 18
Mountains wheat fields forests and along the coast 5th & 7th 17
I like seashores the best they are mystical 6th 16
For some unknown reason they revitalize 5th & 7th 15
Many a person who's depressed or worried 4th & 8th 14
Have cast their burdens into the seas and found 3rd & 9th 13
Much to their astonishment that if they'd known 2nd & 10th 12
That which they know now they'd have tried it before 1st & 11th 11
Now maybe it's because they could never swim 2nd & 10th 10
Fears can be cold impenetrable castles 3rd & 9th 9
Built up over time to protect us from them 4th & 8th 8
Yet without them I believe that we may not 5th & 7th 7
Be able to develop our complete selves 6th 6
Due to our self inflicted ignorance of 5th & 7th 5
Some things which we do not fully understand 4th & 8th 4
Though eventually there may come a day 3rd & 9th 3
In that we may overcome our own self doubts 2nd & 10th 2
And become the persons we are hiding from 1st & 11th 1
