Pt.1-She Found Vindication In The Waltz

baby girl died dancing in the rain
due to her steady diet of vodka and cocaine
took time to realize that she was actually dead
i'm so used to her spending life
lifeless
in bed

my last kiss to these unconcious lips
you could have told me this would be
my last chance
'cause i know you knew
i know you knew this would be the end

they put her in her velvet box
you can still sense the sadness in her eyes
and i just turn away
because i'm terrible at good-byes

i followed them to bury you
it led me to an empty grave
and the ground above it was bearing my name
i'll be here for you
i'll remember you when you're gone
