Punished - Poem by rehanne garvey

I see you, I hear you, I feel you,
Nothing I do can please you.
I try to be brave, thinking I love you
I tried to be strong for you
I tried to be weak for you
I tried to be pretty for you
I tried to be ugly for you
I tried to change for you
But I wasn't the problem, the problem was you.
