Puppet X,12 - Poem by Jerry Ratch

One day I discovered
I couldn't wake up again

O yes

I used to sleep

(and wear beautiful dresses
among them)

Day or night
Didn't matter

Dumb and happy

An umpire

Giving
impressions of owls

Big party
Good time

* *

Life ain't so easy to find
anymore

We all have party hats on

I insist
