A journey through the purgatory sea,
Between you and you, o destroyer-preserver;
Into the grayish water where binaries collide,
Sense and nonsense, right and wrong
Aberrations of destiny cascading in anger,
Only to meet the inception, you;
A paranoid traveler, naive, i wander,
And fall again into you, my sweet!
Is it the hum of spring? the receding winter?
The welcoming chorus of nightingales, i wonder!
Is it you calling me, back to your home,
To the sanctuary of desires again, love?
In the grayish water you dissolve,
With sun and moon and countless stars;
With debris of voyages shattered by fate,
And the beasts of sea and blood
The carnival of flesh resurrected from ruins,
You pull the string to ecstasy, dear;
It's you again, flowing through my veins,
It's you again, pain and pleasure
Is it the song of songs? the angelic choir?
The psalms of cherubs hallowing the sky?
Is it you calling me, back to your home,
To the sanctuary of desires again, love?
Into the grayish water where you transform,
Angel to demon, God to Satan;
A snake and a pillow, hand in hand,
A drug and a venom, combined!
The kisses of dreams and you and wine,
And the string of divergent ideas, and love;
The words meet here, permute and combine,
And poetry after poetry is born!
Is it the melody of a gentle lullaby?
The sonnets and odes in loop, dear one?
Is it you calling me, back to your home,
To the sanctuary of desires again, love?
As i cross the purgatory sea,
I see the heaven disappearing into hell;
I see you vanishing into yourself, o love,
As the sea turns green and then deep red!
