Pursuit Poem by Brandon McConnell

Pursuit

Rating: 5.0

There's not a thing I would not do
To stay here next to you
Hand in hand, through and through
Submerged in love so true

The story of our love anew
Each morning waking with the dew
Sometimes I try but can't astrue
How much I hope to mean to you

I'd sail the world to Timbuktu
Cross the Nile by canoe
Anything to be with you
Each day and night I would pursue

You're better than all else I knew
I cast my cares, my heart then flew
No looking back for my love grew
My darling, I would die for you

Why choose to be 'who'
When you can be 'two'
I'm stuck here like glue
Forever with you

(And I'm so glad I am)
