Push Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Push

Put your finger
In the wall around you
See?
It moves with your touch

Perhaps you should draw yourself a door
And walk through
Too see what's on the other side

I have a feeling
It will be
Pain free

A large green meadow
With soft breezes
Calling you in every direction

It asks you
To create new doors
And get to the other side

To make new doors
So you can walk through again
And again
And again
And again
