Pushkin And Me Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Pushkin And Me

Pushkin and me

Once in chat with Pushkin
I asked him:
-how have been?

Looked as if:
-go shut up!

Returned look:
-impolite!

-I deserve princehood
-as was with Amaru
-he was of Incas
-I came of Ethiopia
-he was luckier
-could and did claim it
-the rights and background
-like men he was killed
-I am too clumsy
-advertise for foxes
-just because of mother
-she is of white blood!

He said and was pleased.

I stood observing
Wanted end, never reached
He noticed my anger:
-and you have your Pirooz
-he too was a prince
-Sheikh bought him as slave
-after was arrested
-and deserves my praise
I was there and silent
Pushkin eyes could be read:
-he was the bravest
-killed the dirty Caliph

I knew so smiled
-mean Omar, correct? Right?
He blinked!
