Put Some Space Between Poem by Roger Snow

Put Some Space Between

~~~ Song ~~~
Take the Side Road
it's another way to go
when walls block you
Like a City inside a Box
or a Dam, about to fall
sometimes ya just gotta blow
Blow away
Like, , Feather on a Breeze
or a Sail gliding cross the Seas
Yea Sometimes
it's time to put Space between
Space between
whether you and them
or You and every one
including Him
Space between
Save for a Moment
That funny scene
the one that woke you laughing
from a Velvet Dream
yea, , ,
Space Between
Just Ride out
just let go
let yourself be free
let it all fall away
let it go
Space between
room to move
some place other
in some one's
other, , ,
yet brand new groove
Yea, , Put Space Between, , ,
Every where you are
and everywhere you've been
Tomorrow can wait
while I live this moment live
and, , ain't our fate
to do what we can
to Survive, , ,
ah just be alive
Now I sit in moments
reflecting where I've been, ,
and it's space between
Myself and my Twin
cause,
if we lie to our own face
what can we really expect
out of this life we call a race
You stand and point that finger at Me
while I watch my spirit fly
out and across
an open Sea
Why you stand
when you can fly
must you refuse
to refute
your own living lie
oh Baby.
it's some where in between
Those old days gone by
and those days
as yet, , ,
to be seen
so take a moment
rest your child like mind
smile at the Wind
as she carries you away
to a Heaven
that you thought
you'd never find, , , ,
and try to recall
it's there, ,
somewhere on that lonely Shore
where you were born, , ,
where began it all
still there for evermore, , ,
Space between ~~~~~
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes you just gotta get away from it all, put a little space,
between you and the World around you, refresh your software, and delete the corrupted files.
Yeah, sometimes, ya just feel trapped and drowning in your environment. Just go, get out and feel that sunshine warm upoin your face.
