Quenched By A Kiss Poem by Ben Littlechild

Quenched By A Kiss

To feel her love would be all that I need.
A need for a thirsty man that needs water,
A thirst quenched with a single smile
And drowned by a kiss.
With this love though, a fear would be set free.
A fear that one day, the thirst will return
And this time, there would be no rain,
To ease the loneliness and the pain.
