Questionnaire For God Poem by Rachel Peck

Questionnaire For God

Rating: 1.0

We're all born to die,
but where do we go?
Our time is quickly fleeting,
drums march to the grave beating.
but where goes the soul?
They say Heaven is the goal.
but what is really real?
I'm not sure what to feel.
The good book says to kneel.
What is Your master plan?
I just want to understand
why you created man?
From the start are we doomed?
Is freewill something that's presumed?
I have so many questions.
Religions offer suggestions.
In this game we call life,
so full of heartache and strife.
On this earth where we dwell,
it's like living in hell.
Good and evil our minds assess,
but we are only pawns in this game of chess!
