Questions Poem by William Cook

Questions

Rating: 2.7

You want something new
from our language?
Something new?
Lewd?
Not over used?
Shrewd?
& what would you do with it?
What difference would it make
to this little interlude
called life?
Maybe, some old words
thrown in
to stretch time
from one point to another?
Words like love?
Truth?
You?
Blue?
Truer than true?
Maybe not?
Maybe we should just
shut up
& see
without speaking?
Just feel
the silence
of our minds
entwined
in some strange
mute
alien language?
