Questions Of A Troubled Heart Poem by Michael Saurer

Questions Of A Troubled Heart

If angels could talk
What would they say?
If shadows could feel
What would they touch?
If demons could fear
What would they avoid?
If illusions could walk
What would they search?
If machines could love
What would they kiss?
If I could turn back
What would I change?

If fear could be seen
What would it look like?
If lies could be turned
What way would they go?
If life could be pictured
What colour would be seen?
If pain could be moved
What would it change?
If love could be cured
What would it become?
If I could be felt
What would it torture?

Questions that will never be asked
Still, what answer would you choose?
If my heart wouldn’t be hidden and masked
Would you stay with me and possibly lose?

It's only words, but they are honest and true. Good questions that should be asked, but I have to admit that asking such questions is hard to do.. Because some answers you don't want to hear.. Love this poem.
