Quiet Devotion (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Quiet Devotion (Shakespearean Sonnet)

No trumpet sounds to herald what I feel,
Nor grand display can mark the love I give;
In gentle acts, my steadfast heart reveals
A quiet truth by which our souls may live.
I tend thy joy as gardeners tend the bloom,
Unnoticed often, yet with patient care;
Through ordinary hours, I make my room
A space where love grows stronger unaware.
No words are needed for this silent vow,
No witness watches what the heart sustains;
The smallest gesture keeps the promise now,
And in its hush, eternity remains.
O quiet devotion, soft and deep,
Thy faithful vigil wakes while others sleep.
