Quiet Simplicity Machines Poem by David Howerton

Quiet Simplicity Machines

Broken parts litter floor
wait for more to put appliance
together for a while.
Better an old friend
than some new thing that
wants internet access.
Can't see why a washer
needs to phone home? And don't care.
Will stick to machines as tools
they're best that way.
