R.I.P Poem by Kylie Archer

R.I.P

Rating: 5.0

Here she is crying on her bed
Holding that knife in her hand again,
But she stops and thinks
And then rises to her feet.
She walks down the stairs
and opens the door.
She feels the wind through her hair
And the snow on the floor.
She looks up at the sky
wishing she could just jump up and fly.
She sits on the ground and
Its as cold as ice.
She puts her face in her hands
and elbows on her knees,
She wish people would just understand.
That's all she really needs.
She wipes the tears form her eyes
and lights her self a cigarette.
She wishes she wasn't in this place.
She just wants to runaway and forget.
She's starting to shiver, its getting cold.
She looks at the thermometer and its below four.
No shoes or coat and she's in her shorts.
She thinks ' I could just go this way.'
Cause' she's tired of all the pain
that she battles every single day.
So she lays down in the snow,
by now its extremely cold.
She blinks away the tears
and reminisces on all these years.
She closes her eyes,
and whispers ' I love you all,
I'm sorry, but good bye.'
A few hours pass
It is four in the morning
Her body lays restless on what is now ice.
Its sad how someone can get this lonely.
Where they'd rather be dead then alive.
But she will always be in our memories.
Now may she finally Rest In Peace.
