Rabble Rouser Poem by Patrick Tincher

Rabble Rouser

Held captive in a strong tower
Bound tight in chains
Squeezed to suffocation by god-like hands
Thrown into a dark dank prison cell
Never to see the light of day
I'm a prisoner in my own life
A prison of my own creation
Morbid fear
Mass oppression causing depression
Forlorn hope
Untold horror
Break the bones of the hands
Shatter those fingers
Emancipation from these chains
Wrestle from these bonds
Batter down the tower's door
Run from the building of veiled terror
Bring the ruckus
