Race Poem by Hillary Unknown

Race

Her eyes fill up with tears
As her heart breaks in two
All of her fears
Turn into reality
As the tears fall down her cheeks
In little rivulets
Like they’re trying to steal a peek
Of the sorrow surrounding her
Like they’re in a race
They never stop
Or slow their pace
The tears don’t care that they’re making the pain worse
All they care about is flowing
And spreading their curse
