Roller Coaster Ride Poem by Hillary Unknown

Roller Coaster Ride

We sit in our seats
As a voice comes over the speaker
Telling us to buckle up
And hold on tight
We obey and we start to move
Through all the
Twists
Turns
Bumps
And upside-downs
I cling to your hand
And squeeze really hard
I feel you squeeze back
And feel reassured
I see faces and things fly by
As we continue on this ride
We go up a hill
And a smile forms on my lips
Then we descend again
And it transfers to tears
I pray that the ride will end
When it doesn't
I feel somewhat safe
Because I still have my best friend
This ride of life
Is crazy
And we have to hold on tight
But as long as I have you
I know everything will be alright

For my Best Friend 3
