Race Without Heart - Poem by Vijay Rana
And so begins the race I have vowed not to be a part
Friends and enemies alike run with desires in their heart
Running for the prize at the end
Forgetting in the way what they ought to tend
Forgetting the lunches and dinners they had together
They run with whatever they can gather
Be it lie or deceit or faking ones pain
The winner will have only victory as his aim
He should be ready to fool the one's he loves
For love is as big a weakness as comes
So make sure you have the guts to leave the one's you care
Before you decide to be a part of this fare
Nothing's fair, everythings bare
For this in no love but war
Return, if you have not come so far
This is the race I have vowed not to be a part
For this is a race without any heart
