Rachel Dute - Poem by joshua treece

As I open the door for you
I look into your eyes
And see the sprinkle
That never goes away
It stays and looks
So pretty on you

When I look at you
And see that big smile
It makes me feel so warm
Inside

When I hear you talk
It sounds like music to
My ears.
It sounds like the
Wind blowing over
Fields of tall grass

When I saw your face
For the first time
It brought a big smile
Knowing that I’m going
To have a good time
With you.
