Rage Poem by Thomas Ware

Rage

I am destruction,
I am rage incarnate,
I am the fire,
I am the burning of hate.

No one can stop me,
For I am the death of all,
All of my many foes,
They all will fall.

Demons inside me,
Burn for power,
It is within me,
Fire and smoke will shower.

I see the razing of homes,
The salting of the earth,
All those who made me this,
Will fear what they have birthed.

Power courses through my veins,
I see the time is nigh,
I will destroy the earth and stars,
And heaven up on high.

Around me is aurora,
A halo of the dark,
Sucks men in, they can't escape,
And forever the world is marked.

The ground will shiver at my feet,
The people bow to me,
The very air will hear my words,
Your ruin is guaranteed.
