Darkness rises all around us,
Consuming those who slumber,
And only those whose watchfulness,
Protects, can drive it under.
Slavers and tyrants come to power,
On the backs of those who slave,
Only those who are grim and dour,
Can revolt, and the people save.
A wise man once said that darkness,
Can only be vanquished by light,
But sometimes, only the heartless,
Can help make two wrongs right.
If it really takes one to know one,
Then wouldn't the one most fit,
To successfully rebel upon,
A king would be a prince?
Evil begets evil,
And Hell invokes Hell,
However, even upheaval,
Can be well if all ends well.
