Ragwort Poem by Padraigh Desmond

Ragwort

Irish wildflowers
Great jovial bushels on the roadside
Soaking in the sunlight
Reflecting a pure existence
Not unhindered, but untainted by the crime
of modernity
Fragrant, vivacious, bright.
A honeybee's delight
