Rain Poem by Cat Ducat

Rain

They patter on the windowsill
As I look outside my window
The rain drops slide down the pane.
I walk outside,
the rain pours harder,
but yet, I feel alive.
I love to walk through the rain
The drops beating on my head
I love it not just because it's gorgeous,
but because I can walk forever
And no one will see I'm crying.
I can cry with the sky,
without being noticed.
I can be me, without being noticed.
I could walk forever.
I wouldn't stop.
I could wash away all the pain
In the water
of the rain.
