Rain

When i was little
I observed the night
from my window,
I was afraid of the
Lightning,
As it made dark clouds visible
my heart trembled,
I believed
the earth is shaken
the sky will cry,
then Rain Followed...

Now i know
Some people affect life
in same way,
Their presence lighten up
the darkest corners...
When they leave,
darkness of gloom
falls on soul,
Heart throbs with
thunder of pain,
Eyes fill with river of sorrow,
And
Rain Follows.....
