Rain Pain Poem by Garrett Nakai

Rain Pain

Rain falls down. The rain falls down. The rain falls down.Drops on my
face to remind me of better days.Late at night the ground
freezes.Yes, when I'm drunk I don't feel the breezes.I walk the
walk.Talk the talk.Even when I'm alone.I am NEVER alone.The sky is
falling.I can see it for it falls on my hand. The water bleeds through
my fingers and lands on the sand.I look up and a special drop hits my
eyes.I blink to clear it out.I reopen then all I see is you.Another
glance to the sky and back down.Your gone like the wind.I want another
drop to fill my sight.Because I miss the first time.I really want to
stop getting high.I'm sorry if the world is going into a drought.Baby
I know your the truest of the true. Please turn my frown upside down.I
know me and you can bind.Sooner or later we'll take flight.I'll do
anything to keep you alive even sacrafice. The smell in the air.Makes
me really want to care.Water droplets dry up in your hair. You don't
care that's really rare.Lots of people use an umbrella.I use my hood
and it's all good.I see you at a distance.I had to walk I couldn't
resist it.Your face appears and it's clear.I can smell your scent your
near.Come here while the rains falls down.I'll cuddle with you during
this thunder.I'll make you feel at home asleep in your slumber.I know
that I might be blown. But I have feelings too you know.I miss your
hugs and kisses. How can you do this to me when now I'm missing.I don't
mean to use this to diss. But just get my message across.Ain't no one
my boss but GOD.He controls everything around, down and up.He fills up
my cup.I walk outside and see a flood.Glad it's not blood.I know
others read this and say s***.I couldn't get another proper word for
the situation.I don't know about you but my souls lit.I'm scared of
the abominations.I've seen the end of days. For the sky was black. It
was raining down pouring on the car.Flames reached high and we didn't
go back.Miles and miles away you can still see the flames from
afar.I'm paranoid of the rain. For it brings me pain.As long as your
here.I have someone to hold near. The rain falls down. The rain falls
down.Rain falls down.
