Rain Rain Rain Poem by Sam Eliot

Rain Rain Rain

Rain Rain Rain
What else can they do but rain?
When these eyes are burdened by all heart's grief,
tortured by mind's mournful thoughts.

When one's heart be full of sorrow and mind of pain
What else may they do but rain?

Since life has implemented a gruesome law
for all livings to expire, one day to be as dust
and its no hell I fear, oh no, nor fire or even the devil.
its the eternal darkness, the thought of being nothing.

When one's heart be full of sorrow and mind of pain
What else can they do but Rain Rain Rain?
