After the rain, the rainbow helps me ease the pain.
I want to see the light; we don't have to put up a fight.
I want to see the rainbow – the rainbow of love.

My ministry is my singing and my art;
I just want to do it from my heart.
I go through trials and tribulation, fighting temptation;
I just want to see the rainbow – the rainbow of love.

Sitting at the ocean, going through my emotions;
no more fear, no more tears, no more sadness, no more madness.
I don't like talking about the past; I want to be in the future, to make it last.
I just want to see the rainbow – the rainbow of love.
