Rainbows Poem by Gwen Douglas

Rainbows

A rainbow is the work of God
On whatever lands you trod
The colors yellow, blue, red and green
Are the most beautiful I've ever seen

Making a wish is what you do
When you are nearly overcome with the view
Looking for that pot of gold
As they did in days of old

Life is like a beautiful rainbow
Here today and gone tomorrow
Never question the Lord as why
Just thank Him as each day passes by
