Raindrops On My Window Pains Poem by Carlton Brown

Raindrops On My Window Pains

There it is again the rain pelting the unspoken silence,
trickling down the pain inside my soul.
gently seductively kissing the emptiness of losses and victories
like the endless monsoon that never... stops, it stirs the memories over and over in my soul

There's no escape as the raindrops shatter the illusion that peace has been found
an umbrella shattered in grief offers no protection
as the rain hammer my window pains
and then as quickly as it started it …stops ….. till the next time……
