Rainy Days Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

Rainy Days

Rating: 2.7

Rain on a cold winter day
The petals of the flowers dripping raindrops, one by one into the dark soil
Bees and birds ducking for cover from getting pelted by the morning rain
Like shooting stars flying through the open sky
I’m sitting in my room, looking through my window as the rain drips from the shed
Falling on the bushes
Each raindropp racing each other to the ground to a dangerous splatter
I want to dance with the falling rain
Prancing and dancing with rain
He is my only friend on a cold rainy day
