Rainy Refrain Poem by steven paliughi

Rainy Refrain

Outside my window nothing but liquid sunshine
Easy to be gloomy but I'm doing just fine
Lousy at lying could you tell?
Truth be told am feeling depressed as hell
What will I do till the showers fade
First off I best hide all of my razor blades
What's that a glint of sunshine upon the still
It will take more of that to warm up this chill
Should think about something cheerful to save my life
Like how now I call her my "Ex-" and not wife
