Random Part Deux Poem by Izik Alcox

Random Part Deux

the flickering of a flame is the candle's shame
perception of the knot can show us a lot
the bouncing light appears so right
tied down around and constantly bound
to the candle so bright an illuminant sight
the flickering of life is our personal strife
perplexed we rot in this social clot
community lost to this individual frost
collective we are similar to a star
yet ignorant we stay in the beds we lay
magnanimous we must be to truly be free
so untie your knot and stop the rot
