Rape Poem by Brittany D. Gay

Rape

Rating: 5.0

One who longed for you, though you not for him,
His love he expressed, but that you had to turn down
He then left, you not caring where
Conflicting emotions, him wanting you more and more
His love for you turned into lust so fast
His eyes now fallow your every move and step
A knock to your door, you look to see a once turned down friend
Your door opens in comfort and surprise
You offer your couch as you go to make tea
You turn and gasp to see him not even a hair from you
The look in his eyes brought chills to your spine
You try to push away, but find it to late
You plead with him to let loose your hands
And to stop unbuttoning your pants
Your cries seem all in vain
Tears falling down your face
You still screaming the same plea
His grip starts to loosen as your screams entered his ears
He backs away as you lie on the floor in tears
Your eyes a blank and focused on the floor
One tear on his face as he ran out the door
Three mouths later all falling back in to place
A letter slipped under your door
In bold letters written in blood
“Apology of one you’d love-to-hate”
