Like a ray of moonlight
Shimmers through the sleeping jungle
So your eyes have illumined
the night of my bewildered life.
Your gift of brightness steers the way
Through nights of poor misfortune.
Your star illuminates the sky
like a lilywhite ray of moonlight.
